An absolutely awesome double CD set (deleted) It's out of this world catchiness will remind you instantly of long-forgotten and eagerly awaited adventure themes.

Fireball XL-5 is a great example here-even having the turbo-rocket ascending noise as the prologue to the main theme!-very nostalgic early sixties!! Persuaders/Avengers likewise.

It's a prized possesion and would never let mine out of my sight!

Unique! 8 April 2000
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This CD is very different, and whilst looking at the songs it contains you probably wont have a clue what they sound like, but on hearing them they will click your brain into gear reminding you that this is not the first time you've heard it. The songs are varied and catchy, a mixture of cult 60's and 70's TV and film tunes, from the Lalo schifrin penned Bullit and Dirty Harry themes, to the legendary Mission: Impossible tune. Nearly 90% of all of these are not songs but tunes, the one's that are songs are certainly an aquired taste. Where this CD breaks down is in some of its most erratic choices for cult themes, [Supercar, Strange Report, Fireball XL5 anybody]. Basically when this CD is bad its bad, cheesy and corny at the same time. But when its good its smooth, cool and sophisticated. The best of the bunch are the aformentioned Bullit and dirty Harry themes, aswell as The Man in a suitcase, Get Carter, The Professionals [remix included], E.V.A, Mission Impossible, 007 [both] and a drive in San Mateo.
