SOL-K12 from Irrigatia Unique Solar Automatic watering and Irrigation system - for use with water butts and other non-pressured water sources - drip waters up to 5m above the water source.The complete irrigation kit for use with a water butt or tank:1 x Solar pump unit, 1 x Anti siphon device, 1 x Inlet filter,1 x 15m tube, 12 x each drips, stakes, tees. The SOL-K12 waters automatically every 3 hours. The amount applied varies depending upon the amount of sunshine and the position of the control knob. The SOL-K12 can be set up to water large small plants, but will always apply more water in sunnier conditions, when your plants need it most.The SOL-K12 can supply up to 36 drippers and is suitable for beds, baskets, vegetables, pots, grow bags, specimen plants and tree establishment.The SOL-K12 supplies enough water for 5 large hanging baskets or 36 x 5 litre pots.Place the SOL-K12 in a sunny position near your water butt, or similar non-pressured water supply. Insert feeder tube into the water butt and arrange the drip tube as required. Switch on the unit and that's it... your plants will be automatically watered.

At first i thought this may have been an expensive mistake,however once set up correctly what a gadget.Powerful solar powered pump even in UK's limited sunshine this waters my 20' polytunnel every 3 hours with just the right ammount of water.Remember to keep the water butt full though!

This is a great product; it took a couple of hours for me to set up, partly due to having to route the hose around some delicate established plants in my polytunnel. Now it is set up it works very well! I have an 8ft x 15ft Polytunnel and I just had enough hose to do the job. It drip waters 12 stations up to 7.5L (total, not per station) every 3 or so hours, and all solar powered. I would highly recommend to anyone.
