- Always-On Data Encryption: All user data is encrypted with AES CBC-mode hardware encryption. Unlike software-based encryption, this"always-on" protection cannot be disabled

I have just recently bought the IronKey D200 32Gb. After using it now for about 10 days I must say that I am really pleased with it's performance and the added security that it provides
But I must add this; this is in fact my second one, the first one had 'self destructed' after 3 attempts at putting in my (very secure) password! I was told by the support team that I cannot / must not use 'foreign' letters in my password, i.e. ö, or ú or ë for example only ASKI code letters. So I was a little dissappointed at first. But IronKey service I must say is first class! I received my second one and since then I have enjoyed using it.
I must say that it is extremely important to go to the website BEFORE trying to initate the USB stick. Look at their excellent tutorials then after you've looked at all their info, WRITE down your password in a text editor (sticky note) or such like and copy and paste it into the given box and confirm it when iniating your stick. It is worthwhile doing it that way to ensure you do not make a typo!
Then enjoy!

The ironkey didn't have written instructions and you can only access them once set up. Not very good - but I eventually worked it out and once set up its very easy to use. I don't know why I didn't get one before - I feel really safe banking online now - and have somewhere safe to keep all my passwords and codes. Having put everything personal onto it from my laptop I know nothing personal can be accessed by anyone else. Peace of mind - I'd recommend it to anyone.

mir wurde dieses Produkt empfohlen und all meine Skepsis wurde besiegt. Ein hervorragender Stick mit ausgezeichneten Sicherheitsmaßnahmen. Tipp: Beim ersten Installieren benötigt man einen leistungsstarken Rechner!
