I love, love, love this movie! Despite having watched it too many times to count, it still takes me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and gets me to stand up and cheer. Yes, there is a great deal of American flag waving but I don't even mind that in this movie. As a Canadian who ran my own dog sledding team, there is a definite appeal to me. many of the aspects of the sledding are technically correct which was important to me. You cannot help but feel the sheer emotion and excitement when you watch this. A MUST watch!

Format:VHS Tape
This is a wonderful film, great for families, and perfect for evenings when you want to sit down and enjoy a film with your family. It reminds me of the Jack London films White Fang and Call of the Wild. You will find yourself believing that you are part of the film. It is great for all ages, except in the beginning there is one very sad scene that younger children may find upsetting, but otherwise children will love this film and will want to watch it again and again! I highly recommend it.

Bought for my 7year old who loves animal films. We both sat down and watched it together and found it very good. It was well acted and true to life. Educational without being hard work - and left you with a nice feeling.

I enjoyed this film and viewed it prior to letting my grand children watch it. I think younger children would find it hard to understand but is excellent for older ones. Read more

What a great family film
Iron Will - What a brilliant family film. I watched this with my eldest daughter, we throughly enjoyed it.
