Irn Bru is Scotland's other national drink and the country's most valuable grocery brand. Bigger than Coca-Cola and even available in McDonalds, that's how big it is. It's even massive in Russia and fighting Coke to get top position there.

What does it taste like I here you ask? For a Scot that's hard to tell. Having been brought up on it...it tastes like....erm....Irn Bru. It's fruit flavoured and is in fact made up of a secret blend and closely guarded secret of 32 different flavours resulting in a taste sensation unexplainable to those who haven't tried it. Orange in colour, rust like, sweet and refreshing to drink it definitely has a irony nose, the aroma of tangerines, citrus friuts, just to hard to determine. A hangover cure sweared upon, we should know and the perfect accompliment to a nice fish supper. Yum

A super drink, a super mixer so buy some today. Come on you've got to love the adverts. They're just brill and you should purchase this for them alone.

Ach, it doesn't get much better than Irn Bru, the taste of Scotland! At the end of a busy day, I relax with a can of Irn Bru, its my treat. The fizz tickles my nose, the taste awakens my senses and my thirst is quenched in a way that NO other soft drink can match. The opposition have been fighting to take the market in Scotland for years, but the Scottish are a proud race and are proud of their national soft drink.

If you want a taste of Scotland, try Irn Bru. You'll love it! I buy mine by the caseload. It doesn't do to run out now, does it hehe.

Irn Bru is the best soft drink in the world! Not only that- it's the best hangover cure in the world too! That's because it contains a substance in it called Quinine (banned in countries such as America, the wimps!).

Made in Scotland - the country with a love affair with the mega strong Buckfast wine & whisky, I guess they needed to develop a drink for the morning after the night before. They done well. I always make sure my fridge is stocked full of the stuff.

Made in Scotland from girders. Irn Bru (which is Scottish for Iron Brew for all you soft southern nancies) has more chemicals than a Chernobyl river and barely a trace of natural ingredients. Rumour has it that Barrs make the stuff by collecting the rivets that fall off the Forth Rail Bridge into the river below and storing them in barrels of water collected from puddles in the Clyde dockyards for three years.

The fizz comes from the little nugget of Plutonium 239 at the bottom of every can. Keep that! If you collect enough of them you could build your own nuclear bomb*. Amaze your friends and strike fear into your enemies' very hearts!

And if you ever see someone drinking diet Irn Bru, glass him**.

*Joke. But the rest of the review is TRUE, I tell you!
**OK that was another joke. But the rest of the review is really is true, I promise.

Very good, cheap and fresh. Very impressed with this product however does contain a lot of sugar so be careful folks don't go drinking too much at once now!

Irn Bru is a drink you cannot describe the taste of. You need to have tried it to know what it's like. When chilled, it's the perfect thirst-quencher for a hot & sunny summer day. Sorry, this is Scotland... for a slightly warm, very overcast summer day.

It's quite a harsh drink though - I often get to the last gulp (always a bigger mouthful than any other from the can) and find it hard to swallow due to it being far fizzier than anything else out there. On that note I fully recommend trying this as an iced drink - pint glass, large dollop of Mackies vanilla ice cream (gotta keep it Scottish!) and then top up the glass with Irn Bru... A very refreshing and tasty treat.

In Nov 2012 AG Barr (who make Irn Bru) announced a merger with Britvic to help market and sell Irn Bru all over Europe and help increase revenue. So long as the Irn Bru recipe remains exactly the same, I'm all for it. It means I may find it easier to get my hands on my favourite fizz the next time I go outside the UK.

You might say its a little pricey, but when your working late and surfing the net your mind drifts and mine drifted to a phenomenal drink and so I bought some. Took a few days to arrive but its good stuff.

Worth buying for ex-pats or friends in foreign countries who perhaps dont get Irn Bru in their shops
