2.0 out of 5 stars Bothered and bewildered 28 Dec 2002
Format:Mass Market Paperback|Verified Purchase
Not much bewitching in this story, rather disappointing. Considering both the heroine and hero have magical powers the limited use of them in the story is somewhat disappointing.
The historic details of the time are on the weak side, although it perhaps is not so important in a light romance. However the author fails to involve the reader in the story or to care for the characters. Not only is passion lacking but so are emotions.
I have enjoyed previous stories by Amy J Fetzer this alas is not one of them.

5.0 out of 5 stars BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY! 14 April 2002
By J. PREVEAUX - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is a beautiful love story of two children who grew up together but took different paths. Amy did a great job bringing them together, I have loved all the "Irish" books and this one really stands out above the others. Connal and Sinead cannot be together without true love between them or Sinead will perish (she has magical powers). Through all the trials and tribulations they go through - well I don't want to ruin the plot - READ IT! It is really a good story, it flows and makes you believe in magik and true love can happen. I was sad to hear that this is the last of the series, maybe Amy will change her mind eh?

5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting End to an Excellent Trilogy 21 Jun 2005
By Irish_Maiden - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Mass Market Paperback
I really enjoyed reading all three of the irish trilogy but this one stood above all the others. I found it extremely interesting and heartwarming. I also enjoyed that Amy brought in an accurate historical view. She definitely shows her true abilities with this book.
