I have tried a number of the recipes in this cookbook. The braised herb chicken was a winner for a recent dinner party. I was able to try out the Venison Casserole at the weekend, now that cranberries are available. This will definitely be on the menu over christmas- I am looking forward to trying the warm black pudding and bacon salad with the boozy rabbit and prunes next weekend
