5.0 out of 5 stars Virtuoso 7 Dec 2009
By COOLM
Format:Audio CD
Arty Mc Glynn is arguably one one the finest and most complete guitar players around, and it is a blessing for Irish traditional music that he chose to embellish and enrich it with his genius. Frankie Gavin another great musician from whom Irish music has benifited greatlyhas been described by Arty as the Charlie Parker of Irish trad. Sit back and relax while they take you on a rollercoaster. Close your eyes and live the music...

5.0 out of 5 stars Frankie Gavin at his best 10 Dec 2000
By adam broderson - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
The pure energy of this album is astounding. Definately one of the best live recordings of Irish Music that I've ever heard. The combination of box and fiddle is perfect, and Arty McGlynn's guitar playing is all you could ask for. A great album altogether.
