1.0 out of 5 stars Iomega 2TB Media Nas Drive Cloud Addition 20 Jan 2013
By A Munn
I have to agree with others who have purchased this product and say that it isn't worth getting. I have experienced the drive hanging a number of times during file transfere and watching movies even over a wired connection. It seems that Iomega have not taken time to test the product on PC's and Macs prior to offering it to the public. Very disappointed as I had high hopes for this drive. I am so unhappy with it I will probably go out and buy something else to replace it.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK but very buggy 1 Jun 2012

this item was easy to set up and easy to use, when it works. Seems to work when it wants to and requires factory re set quite often (this doesn't delete your files) but is a real pain to have to keep doing as this takes some time to do!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little product 24 Oct 2011
Have to say, I wasn't expecting a huge amount from this when I bought it. I expected to have many set-up problems and what not.

Set-up was painless (on Windows 7 64-bit anyway) and the software is relatively good, all be it a bit limited. For example, it is a bit buggy, sometimes sluggish and I would prefer more security/permissions options. Luckily this can be fixed later and is no real reflection of the product itself. It's also often not clear how to do some of the simple things. This is the real reason for marking it down by 1.

I haven't got to test out some things like: Printers, External Hard Drives, but I suspect these will work quite well, given the ease of everything else. It did just work out of the box with the PS3 iTunes and the likes which was nice.

Overall very happy with the product, just wish I had a better network set-up to really take advantage of it.
