Product Description

Unemployed, separated from his wife, and facing foreclosure, Axel Weston needs a quick miracle to salvage his life. Then an unexpected magical power promises to turn things around. But when Axel starts to use his new-found power, he finds that invisibility can be a curse as well as a blessing–especially when others begin to discover his secret. Follow the man who doesn’t cast a shadow as his life takes some surprising–and hilarious–twists. Enjoy this rich and rollicking tale of non-visibility, but please don’t disclose the startling and captivating ending. From the author of the acclaimed Youth in Revolt series of Nick Twisp novels–now a major motion picture from Dimension Films.

5.0 out of 5 stars Payne has done it again. 17 Nov 2010
By Jim Coddick - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I first discovered the writing of C.D. Payne with the must read Youth in Revolt series. His ease of writing a story filled with hilarious humor full of odd ball gags and outlandish events, while at the same time crafting a tale filled with characters you know and love. Characters that for all their absurdity you could swear were you, as they seem to continually express your thoughts and feelings and desires. Needless to say when I discovered he had written a new book, I was beyond excited.

Payne returns in full force with a tale that has had me burning through the pages, I just can't get enough of his writing.

Invisibly Yours is the story of Axel Weston a 37 year old in the process of divorce who while out with his dog, lets call him Bob, discovers the ability to turn himself invisible. From then on its a fantastic romp which you won't be disappointed with. It has everything I've come to love from Payne, easy wit, hilarious events and the absurd truth of life in all its infamy. This will be a treasure on my bookshelf for years to come.

3.0 out of 5 stars An Invisible Ending 7 Jan 2011

C.D. Payne did a marvelous job with 95% of this book. If you liked Youth in Revolt, you will definitely like the tale of Axel Weston.

I must caution you! Do NOT read this book if you like complete endings.

That's all I'm saying.

I do advise C.D. Payne fans to buy this book. It's pretty good.
3.0 out of 5 stars fun, but not LOL funny. 14 Dec 2012

It’s a fun wild caper style book CD is so famous for. Many years ago feel in love the Youth in Revolt book and think I read the second but had no idea he wrote so many more on that series. It’s nice to see him stepping out of that and doing something different. While the idea of invisibility is not new, like his take on it. I’m not bothered he never really explains, it’s just a plot device and am cool with that. Not LOL hilarious, but a fun quick read.
