5.0 out of 5 stars Nu-Jazz Breaks Genius 10 Aug 2000
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Worth the price for Manitoba's fantastic effort alone - frankly, I don't think that Nu-Jazz Breaks get much better than this. The beautiful shimmering sounds carress every part of my body; Manitoba is a Nu-Jazz genius.

1.0 out of 5 stars I don't recommend this at all... 16 Jan 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Wishy-washy and mood-driven crap. Whatever nu-jazz is supposed to be it ain't this. I have rarely heard a record more difficult to listen to than this one. And not only are a few of the tracks like this - they're ALL as bad (with the possible exception of OP:L Bastards - well done guys, you saved the compilation). If you enjoy sitting confusedly waiting for the real tune to kick in then buy this record.

3.0 out of 5 stars soundtrack for your life 1 Oct 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
as Wallpaper* said: Brian Eno's 70's invention of Ambient Music was intended to work as soundtracks for living. No distracting lyrics and arrangements, this is the perfect stuff for lounging about on a late sunday afternoon, or your drive down Market Street... if you're the wired kind who works surrounded by whirring, buzzing server hard drives, this thing will set you free while still allowing you to concentrate on watching the ax.
