to be perfectly honest, i guess i don't really know what 'kraut rock' is - 'can' was NEVER this interesting. this smells almost like the 2nd incarnation o' the 'release' era. this album illustrates precisely why i believe relapse is THE most innovative/important label in the underground
'powerful' is not too powerful a description as this release is a journey more than worth the investment, at times bordering - believe it or not - on some o' of the best psychadelic black metal ever attempted
eclectic, every listen rewards the listener. nuff said
