I first saw this when i was at school in the 90's when my mum had it on vhs. When i knew it would be on dvd i had to buy it. Thrills humour fun witty and a good allround family fun movie and great idea and very original never been explored since. you'll love it if you like silliness and witty comments and a good laugh

3.0 out of 5 stars It's got bare breasts in it... 12 Jan 2012
My title pretty much sums up all positive points about this film, I grabbed a copy on a bit of a nostalgia trip and then rapidly realised that the reason that my friends and I coveted this movie so much, was because in the heady pre-internet days of the late 80's ANYTHING with naked women in it was worth it's weight in gold.
Avoid unless you're desperate to pretend you're 14 again next time you have the kleenex out.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun for the kids 18 July 1999

Who hasn't dreamed of being invisible. This funny movie explores the question of what could be done if one were invisible. A classic flick. The locker room scene isn't so bad either.

5.0 out of 5 stars a avide movie watcher 9 Sep 2002
By Russ Kikkert - Published on Amazon.com
This is one of the Best films from a great decade for movies, the 80's. It was one of my fav films as a kid. I only wish they would put it out on DVD. It has all the great elements for a classic movie; the nerdy kid, the quarky best friend, the hot cheerleader, the jock that losses in the end, ect ect. This film is a classic and I would recommend it to everyone.
3.0 out of 5 stars okay movie 11 April 2012

This is movie is worth watching especially if you're a Wilson Phillips fan (starring Chynna Phillips of Wilson Phillips fame). It's entertaining and funny - I enjoyed it immensely when I was younger. Wish it could be released on DVD.

This movie itself was not meant to be an award winner, it was meant to be a film to sit down an enjoy with your friends and to have a good laugh, and it becomes every teenagers fantasy to have the power of invisibility, to get back at school bullies, and sneak into the girls locker room, it does not get silly with kiddie dialog, and it does not get to crazy with gross out humor like American Pie(1999) did enough to get an R rating. But I will note this to the director, if you were trying to avoid it being a kiddie flick, you should have come up with a better title, maybe it should have been called The Guy Who Isn't There, or The Hollow Guy. Other then that still entertaining.
