Prison a hotel? 21 Mar 2004
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
This book is a brilliant read. If you are in anyway interested in prison life i would definately recommend it. As Tom Shannon's letters were never intended to be published you really get a feel for Tom, his feelings towards his crime and his time spent on the inside. His comments are honest. It is a definate educative eye-opener to the life of someone in prison.

What an amazing book. I found this truly inspirational and very humbling. Not knowing much about the prison service, this very frank account was very enlightening, and at times very moving. A very easy book to pick up and put down, as it is all in short letters. One that will stay with me for a long time.
