Invicta Watch Group History
A reflection of the feel of the brand, Invicta is Latin for Invincible. Founded over 100 years ago in Chiasso, Switzerland, Invicta originally made mechanical and automatic pieces. Like most brands of the time, it all but disappeared during the quartz movement of the early 70’s. It was reintroduced in 1991 by third-generation members of the family as Invicta. It has become one of the fastest-growing brands in the industry which now includes 20 diverse collections suited to meet the needs of any consumer. The privately owned and operated, company is headquartered in Hollywood, Florida
Invicta has something for everyone with twenty dynamic collections. Accommodating today’s consumer, Invicta prides itself on being technologically ahead of the industry, offering a range of timepieces that are equipped with features that go far beyond the telling of time. Styles range from oversized fashion watches to pieces for the active sportsman, capable of handling hundreds of metres of water and any outdoor activity to sophisticated jewellery, vintage pieces and many more--for both ladies and gents. Every Invicta watch is subject to a rigorous quality control process and must meet with Invicta's high quality standards including over 300 individual tests. Each is meticulously constructed using the finest movements and materials available. Invicta is one of the few companies now certified to continue using the famous Swiss ETA movement.
