Invicta Men's Watch 6097

At the time of writing this review, I've had my Invicta watch for about a week now. In short, I love this watch.

It commands attention and draws many looks and comments everywhere I go. I suggest searching Google or Invicta's website for additional images on this watch as you will definitely want to find a side profile image of the watch prior to making your purchase decision. What can't be seen in stock photograph is that the side of the metal watch casing is rather tall, measuring in at about 1/2". Additionally, the glass front actually balloons out adding additional height (by about another 1/4"). This can make the watch look unexpectedly larger than you may think just by looking at the standard picture + the casing measurements. The ballooned glass makes for easy reading of the dials when looking straight on, however quickly falls off at more than a 45 degree viewing angle.

All materials in this watch seem to be of a very high quality. From the genuine leather band, to the stainless steel casing, to the intricate details of the 3D 12 and 6 numbers and bubbles, this watch looks like it should definitely stand the test of time. Speaking of time, I'm certainly no watch expert, but the movement in this watch seems to surpass that of other watches I've owned (also own a Nautica sail watch). The movement seems crisp and the timing function seems to work much more precisely, however that may just be me imagining things. :)

I would consider myself of average build with an average wrist size (don't know the number specifically though). For me, this is as a large of a watch as I would ever want to get. In my opinion it fill my wrist perfectly and has a great feel to it. It's definitely the heaviest watch I've ever owned, but watch weight has never bothered me before. If you are sensitive to that, this may not be the watch for you. For me personally, I can't seem to find the perfect size setting with this watch to fit my perfectly in circumference. One hole too tight and the watch dials dig into my hand, one hole too loose and the weight of the watches forces it rotate which drives my OCD crazy.

These minor gripes though are more personal for me and your experience will probably vary. Don't let that sway you from pulling the trigger on this watch. My suggestion on price - don't pay anywhere near retail for it as I personally don't think it's worth that. However, anything in the two hundred dollar or less range and this watch definitely becomes a great value that's sure to give you years of enjoyment and lots of comments from on-lookers.

You can't see from the pictures, but the watch face is bubble shaped and looks very impressive. I love this watch
