Product Description

A clean black dial distinguishes this durable, dark-hued Invicta Men's Pro Diver Collection Coin-Edge Swiss Automatic Watch. A polished stainless steel band joins to a durable stainless steel case that's topped by a black, ion-coated, unidirectional coin-edge bezel that is imprinted with white indexes and Arabic numeral minute indicators in increments of 10. The striking black dial is protected by a scratch-resistant, sapphire-coated window, showcasing luminescent geometric hour indicators that complement luminescent, silver-tone hands. Small white minute markers and a date window at the three o'clock position complete the look of the visually appealing dial. This Swiss-automatic diving watch is water resistant to an impressive 660 feet (200 M) and is presented in a yellow Invicta gift box along with a buffing cloth.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

This watch is a haomage to Rolex Submariner. OB = old bezel and that means coin ridged bezel. The new Invicta Pro Diver 9938 is similar except it doesn't have the coin ridged bezel. The watch has a Sellita SW200 (26 jewels) swiss made mechanism which apparently is a copy of the 25 jewels ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. The watch is precise for an automatic movement and I dare to say even more precise than my other swiss automatic watches with ETA 2824-2 movements. The bezel is unidirectional and got 120 clicks. Unfortunately is not partially ceramic but it is painted. Time will tell if the paint will last. The watch is not big. Is medium in size. It looks very nice. On the left side of the watch is written in metal INVICTA which is a nice touch. The attention for details is high. The only thing that I can say bad about this watch is the stainless steel bracelet which even it is a copy of the one from Rolex Submariner is not sturdy as it should and I think in time it will fail to keep the watch safe on your wrist. You can see the oscilator on the back of the watch. The oscilator is also signed Invicta which is a nice touch. If you are not wearing the watch very much you can wind it up manually. The second hands movement is very smooth - smoothest I've ever seen. The crystal is not sapphire but flame fusion which I do not think is as good as sapphire. Time will tell. I'll be careful with the watch. The other negative thing are the other Invicta Pro Diver watches with Japanese Automatic movements that are 3-4 times cheaper than this one. I mean they look the same, they keep good time and nobody will ever know that they do not have a swiss movement if they do not read the small print on the watch dial. But the precission of this SW200 is much, much better and probably it will outlive it's fellow japanese automatics. Sellita SW200 in the past was used in watches like Omega and Tag Heuer - if I'm not mistaken.

I bought this divers style watch recently after being recommended to me by a work colleague who has an interest in quality timepieces. This turned out to be an absolute bargain and i'm thrilled with my purchase, what i have is a high quality item that is extremely accurate for a fraction of the price you would pay on the high street for a well known swiss luxury brand.

I Have just purchased a 9937ob swiss movement Invicta divers watch. Initially i was very sceptical about the quality i would get for the money paid, however this watch is seriously underated! I have previously owned a Rolex submariner, Breitling superocean, Omega seamaster, and let me tell you the quality of the 9937 ob is fantastic. The weight is good, and the movement doesnt seem any different to the eye than that of the Rolex and breitling. This watch is not a Rolex - granted, but for the price of under £300 quid is an absolute bargain. I would recommend the Swiss movement model as for the extra few quid you are getting alot more watch. I bought it from Mr watch and the watch arrived within a couple of weeks, overall if you want a decent divers style watch with a quality swiss movement without paying thousands of pounds this is a great option.

This watch was a gift from my watch enthusiast brother last Christmas...He bought it in the States where he lives. I already have the version with the non-swiss movement and had happily worn that one for some years. Like its predecessor, the 9937 is robust, good looking and keeps good time. Although I'm not fanatical about PERFECT TIME-KEEPING, THE 9937 has the edge over my old one. It's more accurate and runs longer when its not being worn. It is a beautifully made timepiece. Some might find it on the heavy side, but I like that. I work with horses, who often like a nibble on it (dont ask me why111) and it has stood up to anything thrown at it! Looks every bit as handsome as anything 10 times the price...Buy it!

what's to say, it looks great, keeps good time, the high quality movement gives a good sweeping second hand.

I would note that the bracelet when it came was huge, I'm an average- large(isn) sized fellow, and still had to remove about 4-5 links to get it fitting my wrist. However, found instructions online and it took maybe 30 mins (as I was being careful with my new toy/time piece)

Pros
- Nice looks (Rolex submariner)
- Quality bracelet

Cons
- Runs to slow (1-2 minutes per day)
- Crown operation a bit flimsy

When the watch arrived my first impression was that it was too small and looked a bit cheap or should I say "simple". But after a while I've become really fond of this watch. The simple design is actually just the way the Rolex submariner looks and I think the quality is better than I first thought. In the morning I choose between this watch and my two other metal bracelet-watches, the Omega Seamaster and the Breitling Superocean. The bracelet is almost as good as the two others and looks and feels great. The only real downside to the Invicta is that it runs slow by 1-2 minutes per day which is really not ok. I don't feel like bothering to send it to Invicta though, so I'll just live with it. (Being an automatic it has to be adjusted often anyways when it has been stationary for two days.) Overall it is a lot of watch for the money, where the higher price compared to the 8926 is motivated by the superior bracelet.
