Invicta Venom II 6 Jan 2013
By W. Whittenberger - Published on
I am a watch collector with many Invicta watches. However, I have always wanted a Venom in my collection. For my birthday my wife has purchased me the Invicta Venom II watch for my collectioin. I love the look and size of this watch and the way it fits on my wrist. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone who is wanting to make statement. Warning this watch is not for everyone! It is 52mm in diameter and 22mm in case thickness. The venom series watch comes in different styles and can range anywhere from the low two hundred dollar range upwards over a thousand dollars.

Great follow up to original Venom Reserve 16 Jan 2013

I bought a Venom Reserve back in 2009 and had to get used to the weight and size of it, but that didn't take long. The compliments and the questions about "how big is that watch!?" never stopped coming since then. I own several Invicta watches, but this was always "the" Invicta watch to own. So then I came across this Venom II and even though it doesn't feature a stainless steel bracelet like the original Venom, the watch itself is all that matters. Nobody will be noticing the bracelet, trust me.

Also, I have nothing against polyurethane bracelets, I just found that with a big watch like the Venom it needed a big stainless steel bracelet to back it up but now I see that isn't the case. The watch is beautiful and I personally love the black and white contrast on the dial. Its so sharp. The left side of the dial has a brushed steel look. The same brushed steel appears on the bracelet as well. The crown to adjust the watch are a high gloss chrome and look great.

The watch is heavy and the bracelet weighs very, very little, so be mindful of that when putting it on since you need to work a buckle and not a clasp. The watch almost feels "top heavy" when putting it on and taking it off so just be careful. Once its on the watch is very comfortable to wear, considering its size and weight. Of course the advantage of polyurethane bracelets is that you can easily adjust the fit, unlike steel bracelets where you need to add/remove links. Overall its an extremely handsome watch and totally worth the price. The automatic model I've seen go for as much as $1,600 so as long as you don't mind changing batteries every 3 or 4 years, this is the watch for you.

Most stunning watch in my collection 17 Jun 2013
By Raymond Chan - Published on
I have recently started collecting large face dial watches and this beauty is a stand out. I like watches that are unique and have a striking look and this diver watch does not disappoint. I am so used to fielding questions and admiring comments about this watch that I sometimes feel like an Invicta sales person. I was willing to pay $223 for this watch online when last Christmas I happened to see it on sale at Costco with a manufacturer instant discount of $50 to bring it down to $185. I bought it immediately knowing this holiday pricing would not last. My doctor saw my watch and actually asked if he could see and inspect it as he was very impressed with the look. I told him where to get it and unfortunately he was bemoaning the fact that it was no longer available the next time I saw him.

Be advised this is a heavier watch than some very thin watches on the market and initially I was thinking I wanted a metal clasp with it but the polyurethane band actually makes more sense as it balances the overall weight of the watch and the watch would be too heavy if the band was metal as well. The face has a very deep white perimeter which further enhances the stunning black dial. There are luminous markers on the outer rim and also on the hands and hour markers. Don't depend too much on the luminosity as this is the one feature which could use some enhancement.

Overall, a stunning head turner of a watch that constantly gets notice.
