Product Description

Product Description

Andrew McHattie records the growth in the warrants market, examines their advantages over shares and their performance in relation to the stockmarket. Specific chapters are devoted to assessing and selecting warrants and the simple (and more complex) analyses which can be conducted. The question of risk is given thorough coverage explaining how to structure the warrant investment to suit individual preferences. Dealing issues and the holding of warrants are fully examined as is the important question of exercising subscription rights. Having taken the reader step-by-step through the investment process the book then focuses on trading skills and how to take advantage of the opportunities which arise. The new covered warrants markets and overseas warrants are looked at as well as complementary risk instruments, and the future of the warrants markets. It details possible pitfalls and how to minimise risks, while appendices provide a specific worked example of all calculations relating to warrants and a comprehensive listing of all UK equity warrants.

A great introduction to warrant investments 8 Aug 1996
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
This book is a magnificent introduction to warrant investments. Giving specific explanations of what a warrant is,
how it works, and what makes it attractive, the author also clearly states the risks associated with the investment
tool. This gives a fair picture of the tool, so that everybody can find out whether or not they want to use
warrants for their own investment.

The writing of the book is clearly understandable, even to non-investment freaks. Difficult terms are explained
clearly, and the book leads the reader further into the subject with each chapter. After having read the book,
you might not be the world's greatest expert on warrants, but you will definitely be in the position to make some
money out of them.

A book for anybody who wants to make some money!
