Product Description

Ivan Fallon, Sunday Times

Above all he makes it fun - everything he does is fun, and he pours it into this book. It is enjoyable as well as instructive.

Tony Drury, Proshare

Investment Made Easy is a superb book - and a terrific short-cut!

...this is a primer presupposing no knnowledge of investment and explaining vairous froms of investment as well -- in other words, this should be read BEFORE The Zulu Principle. I used to think the subject of investment arid, impenetrable and unexciting... until I read Jim Slater's Investment Mad Easy. I think he's done a magnificent job! After reading this book, followed of course, by The Zulu Principle and other investment books by other authors, I was confindently picking takeover targets and investing in vaule companies. Buy this book if you want to understand the fundamentals of investment -- you may find that many professionals sadly lack that knowledge and merely follow the herd!

...I guess it depends on the level of knowledge that you have about investments and savings but this book is written in a very legible and easy to read style and is a must for anyone serious about getting into this difficult but fascinating subject. Having read other primers within this field and having read this book several times I would have to say that this book comes close to being a standard text on investment and savings. Jim Slater has divided the book into two halves to reflect the differences between Savings and Investment. He clearly explains all the different principles involved and focusses on principles which are time-honoured and reliable. This book is a must for serious investors who are just begining in this field

If you haven't read The Zulu Principle this book has lots of pertinent information about investment. However, you would be better to read The Zulu Principle and Beyond the Zulu Principle if you are really serious about implementing an investment strategy rather than simply gaining general information on the subject.
