Well, I got this because it was a bit cheaper than the official charger and I'd already spent a small fortune on all the other gear. However, in hindsight I think I would rather have gone for the official charger. On the plus side, the product came well packaged with all the right parts included, but there was no explanatory leaflet, just the few words on the side of the box. We plugged it in and left the controllers charging overnight - about 12 hours. When I looked at the dock the next morning the red light on the top had changed to blue (like the blue light that is round the bottom whenever the unit is powered up). As soon as I removed a controller the light went out. I took the other one out, put them both back in and the light changed back to red, even though they had both registered as fully charged. I have never seen the red light go blue since then! Having said this, the charger is obviously working and charging the controllers well as we get plenty of life out of them, and checking on the data management on the Wii you can see that the battery power is high - but still the red light never goes out however long the controllers are docked! The other drawback is that because the dock plugs into the Wii via a USB you have to have the Wii on in order to power the unit, so you have to leave it on for a couple of hours after you've finished playing just to charge the batteries. I guess it could be plugged into the computer to be charged that way but I haven't tried yet, and also you would probably then have to leave the computer on.
