I ordered this thinking it was the excellent BBC Scotland series Invasion Earth. What I got was a DVD purporting to be Invasion Earth(The Aliens Are Here), a B movie sci-fi comedy. That was bad enough but even this was misleading as what was on the disk was actually a movie called DEF-CON 4, a B movie sci-fi drama. Oh dear!

This SF movie is mostly made up of about 40 clips from other sci fi movies from the 50s. It could be called trailer trash. If you are of a certain age you will watched most of these movies in the 70s on TV so it will a real nostalgia trip to see them again.
The plot of this movies is Aliens come down to earth to take it over. They go into a movie hall and put a lot of trailers whilst they are perfecting their mind control techniques.
This is not a serious attempt at a movie. Only worth buying if you are into nostagia.
