There are a few problems with theis DVD, such as the conversion from 30 frames per second to 25 frames per second, resulting in dropped frames and stuttery panning shots. The sound at times is overwhelmed by the filming sounds, such as motors and fans, plus poor accoustics in general. Finally, some of the acting is (considering the subject of the film) harsh on the wooden-ness of trees. Still, once the story gets going it's not a total stinker, with a couple of quite good is-she-isn't-she-human situations.
This seems to be the first in a series - judging by the subtitle The Beginning - and here's hoping the sound, lighting and other technical things (like acting) are improved. Still, at least I watched it all the way thorugh, which I haven't done with one or two other low budget films, so it must have something.
