Product Description

I liked this film, I didn't find it scary, or surprising but I did like the story. Though, it seems like the writers didn't know how to end it or they ran out of time to come up with a better ending but it seemed rushed and disjointed from the rest of the film, I'm talking about the last 5 minutes, after the not so shocking reveal. I have no idea why what happened happened the way it did. The ending just seemed a bit too easy and soft after everything else.

Still, apart from the ending it was a good story.

Some of the reviews have been very unkind to this film but I thoroughly enjoyed it and I thought it was a clever story which began with a young boy in Spain having hellish nightmares. It then moves to a family in England whose daughter is having similar night terrors. I like Clive Owen and I thought the daughter played by Ella Purnell acted brilliantly. The father and daughter were very close and it was a creepy story of childhood nightmares which were partly real. I just watched it for a second time and would recommend it.

I watched this last night, despite Clive Owens best efforts, the entire film is a mess. Sloppy c.g.i., combined with a virtually ludicrous script make this one of the worst movies of 2012.Avoid at all costs.
