Great book for Algebra! 11 Sept. 2010
By Kit Minden - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Bittinger is always the best algebra textbook writer and this book is no exception. It's clear and well organized. There are enough practice exercises to really hone your skills, and if the answers given in the back of the book aren't enough, you can get the solutions manual which has complete step-by-step explanations of all the exercises.

The only reason I survived Algebra 1 Jan. 2013
By Kimie611 - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
If you are not good at Algebra, I suggest buying the book to go along with your class. I actually ended up using the same book for parts A & B, so it was well worth the money. It was nice to have the text for tests, because you couldn't always pull the readng up on the computer while taking the test in another window. Having the book is th only reason I was able to pass these classes.

Great examples presented in several ways that allow for individual learning styles and accommodate a variety different thought processes, even for those of us who have a tendency to have both train traveling in the wrong direction!!

Phoenix Student 8 Oct. 2013
By mjdubyak - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I was a University of Phoenix student and I wanted to have the actual book we were using in class. They upload the book to their website and have practice problems to do; however they DO NOT upload the answer pages. I needed those pages so I knew if I was getting the material or not. Having the actual book was tremendously helpful for the class.
