5.0 out of 5 stars Well written and very informative 25 Mar 2007

Prof. Kel Fidler used to teach at my University (Essex), and this book was the introductory guide used in my first year. A well written informative book; this is an absolutely superb introduction to complex circuit analysis, taking you from V=IR to the most complex circuit equations you are likely to meet.

With plenty of examples, you are taken by the hand as he reaches quite a pace introducing and explaining each topic in a concise form supported by solid maths, and without getting sidetracked by unnecessary notes.

All in all, this is an excellent tutorial of the maths and theory behind circuit analysis and when you go onto more complex analysis you will value having this book to hand.
