This book is a fantastic insight on biomechanics for the beginner, but after finishing the book will make you feel like a novice in the area. Extremely well written with good breakdowns and example explanations, making it very easy to follow and understand.
The style it is written is also very friendly and humerous, which actually makes it fun to read but still profesional at the same time.
The book itself covers many important topics in an easy to follow order, so when progressing onto the next chapter, previous knowledge must be used to follow and understand.
Great description on each topics, with depth of explanations on some of the harder to understand areas. Includes practical activities and cd-rom that refers to set parts of the text.
As a profesional in the area of health and fitness, this book has greatly improved my knowledge and progressed my potential for progression with clients. For this reason, it is a MUST HAVE for anyone within the same industry!
Only negative to say about the book, is it has left me wanting to know more about biomechanics, as it has only scratched the surface in an area which has extreme depth and ongoing studies.
Many thanks to Andy Kerr, will look forward to the next piece of literature.
