About the Author
Ray Parker has worked in a variety of ESOL contexts, teaching both in Spain & the UK. He has been involved in running teacher education programmes for native and non-native speakers in South America, the Czech Republic, Singapore, Malaysia and Iran. For many years he worked on developing and leading TESOL programmes at Sheffield Hallam University and latterly was Director of Language Examinations at Trinity College, London. Tim Graham has worked in the Middle East, Pakistan and the UK and examined both ESOL & TESOL internationally. Over the years he has been involved in teacher education, and has developed an interest in the role of phonology in language teaching. He is Senior Lecturer and Head of the Teacher Education Programme in TESOL at Sheffield Hallam University.
