If there is one book that every person with an interest in, or responsibility for, health and safety should have on their shelves, then this must be it.
As well as serving as the handbook for the NEBOSH General Certificate, it also forms a comprehensive and authoritative guide for the safety professional, and provides real practical advice and examples for those who have to implement health and safety "on the ground".
All of this is brought together in a clear and logical layout, starting with the comprehensive contents pages, through the colour coded and numbered individual sections, to the detailed index at the back. The clarity of this layout, coupled with the prolific pictorial and diagrammatic supporting information and examples, makes for easy and engaging reading as well as for "dipping in" to locate information on a specific topic or subject.
Clearly enormous amounts of professional expertise, care and effort have gone into the production and recent updating of this book (to the current fourth edition), and it really shows. Highly recommended.
