Great book with everything about flying and the underlying physics, however the quality of the paper in the paperback book I got is rather cheap, and does not look like the book you are going to keep and use for a long time

Excellent text book on aerodynamics for those with non engineering background 8 July 2013

Excellent text on aerodynamics. Slanted toward the non professional engineering student. Ideal for the aviation professional who desires to understand basic concepts just a little deeper. Cheers

Extremely satisfied 30 May 2012
By xen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
The book is well-written, easily comprehended, great as an introduction to basic aerodynamics as well as to basic flight mechanics. So far, from my experience, i have been satisfied with all John D. Anderson books. Highly Recommended.

Great condition! 21 Feb 2014

I chose this 5 star rating because I bought this book for my boyfriend, he recently bought his at the school bookstore for $275! Wow! that was a lot so I immediately took to Amazon to search for a cheaper book. This was the one I found same edition as the one he got, and it was more than $100 cheaper i was totally sold. I used expedited shipping and it got here in less than 4 days- very speedy delivery. I was very happy with the results- it was pretty much a brand new book I wasn't expecting that so it was a nice surprise!

Excellent 22 Oct 2013

This was the required text for my introductory Aerospace Engineering class. It is well written and easy to follow. There are many good example problems that really help with understanding how to use the equations.
