I would highly recommend this to anyone studying an undergraduate course in Econometrics. I have tried a number of books to get my head around this subject and this is by far the best. Unlike most econometrics books this is incredibly readable, helped by a particularly lucid and succient writing style and frequent relevant and insightful real-world examples. And it achieves this without sacrificing any detail or depth - it covers at least as much ground as Wooldridge, one of the more advanced introductory books. The structural of the book is also unique in that you are taught how to use the different tools before being given a set of very restrictive assumptions which are difficult to fully understand until you actually know what you are doing!
