5.0 out of 5 stars Dyslexia in Secondary School - an intro, 14 Jan 2011

Wow! This is a working model. This book should be in every school on every teacher to be's learning list and every teacher, parent, grand parents list too! This book is so good it has been hi-jacked at my school and I have yet to track it down! I think the Languages faculty have it at the moment. I have worked in secondary schools for 12 years as a teaching assistant and wish I had had it when I started. I have been able to help so many students since I got it last year, and so many staff too! Really worth every penny and honestly should be used, not just read. It has ideas on how to help in every subject which will work with some but not all, but will also be useful for those not openly dyslexic - some are just mildly dyslexic and will never be diagnosed - just like my sister and youngest daughter. Well I never knew my sister was until I read this! This book is not worth borrowing, you need to own it.
