In this book, Sue Jennings presents her developmental model of play therapy. The material is presented in a clear way, with plenty of examples to bring the theory alive. Integrated into her model is sensory play and dramatic play, and I particularly like the idea of a sensory box that is described on page 85. Appendix one includes a list of play therapy materials and appendix two outlines a developmental checklist. This books is a wonderful addition to the play therapy literature. Readers interested in this topic might also like the following books:
