5.0 out of 5 stars Insomnia 27 April 2013
By Deborah
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This booklet is not overwhelming it has easy to understand advice on how to help you get on top of your insomnia, for example having a set time for going to bed and getting up, a nice warm bath before bed time, listening to relaxation cds or music, or watching something funny and light, also setting time aside early in the evening write down everything that has been worrying you, so you do not go to bed thinking on the days worries and problems, its also inexpensive in price so this booklet can reach us all, overall it is excellent helpful, well written booklet, it certainly is helping me quite a lot, the main thing is to stick with it for best results.Deborah preston England.

3.0 out of 5 stars More of a pamphlet than a book 13 April 2013
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a very thin booklet in an A4 large print format. It is clearly intended as a very rudimentary self help guide to the basics of insomnia and does that job in a fairly easy to follow fashion. In fact, if anything, it is almost a bit too simple and would have benefitted from a bit more detail as, I suspect, it is the moderately sophisticated reader who is likely to seek out this kind of help.

Colin Espie is a well respected clinical psychologist and sleep researcher, so the advice is sound, reliable and based on considerable experience. The advice will certainly be a useful start for anyone who has been suffering sleeplessness.
