Review

Up to date exposition by an experienced and effective teacher; suitable for undergraduates and graduates. (BMJ, September 1995 (of the second edition) )

Excellent coverage and scientific approach, use of original research figures superb, scholarly book, excellent for bridging between 'text book' and original sources. (Dr Adrian Rees, University of Newcastle upon Tyne )

This is an excellent book. I recommend it to all students, from 1st year to postgraduates. (Dr P Fraser, Kings College London ) --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Very informative 14 Jan 2007
Format:Paperback
I bought this book around a year ago, and even though i've completed the module that I intended to use it for i still find myself referring to it now and again.

This book is a MUST BUY for all students reading medicine and those courses allied to medicine such as biomedical sciences and others. The book is logically laid out and the illustrations are clear and easy to understand.

would not have passed cardiovascular system without it!!

Clear thinking. 22 Jun 2006
Format:Paperback
I am doing doctoral research and am reading lots of cardiology books. This is the best. I get the feeling when reading it that the author "knows" the topic and can share this knowledge. Perhaps there could be more info on NO and the neurogenic nerve system.
