Review

"The strengths of the chapters reside in the clear exposition of the basic principles of the law, the appropriate illustration by means of relevant cases, and the logical flow of ideas and subject areas which they contain." - Walter Cairns, Manchester Metropolitan University

"I would commend the author for producing a valid text which is interesting, approachable and covers essential material. I could see the text being a popular choice with students and their lecturers. " - Dr. R. L. P. Austen-Baker, Lancaster University

There are quite a lot of law text books about, some of which are pretty rubbish, but I found this book incredibly helpful throughout my course and still sometimes refer back to it. Easy to use and explains things in a straightforward manner, can't recommend highly enough.
