I can't excatly remember when or where I first discovered this band, but it was almost certainly from surfing the Internet. As a result of this, I visited their web site and found the Anti video for "Maniac Lover". It blew my mind. A single song had not had such an effect upon me since about 1981. It is definitely in my Top 10 of all time.
I came a bit late to this album, only having had it for Christmas 2003, and it has taken a few weeks to get into it. Quite honestly, I am not keen on female vocalists for Rockabilly. Apart from an okay version of "All I Can Do Is Cry", there is nothing much to write home about on here. When the vocals are done by the guys, it improves, but overall, this is a support album for one extremely good track.
