Unbelievable Talent 11 Nov 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Oliver Darley has the same unbelieveable talent and range Tom Jones had in his earlier years. How has Oliver gone unnoticed for so long. I only hope someone with so much god given PURE talent can succeed when other more manufactured noises seem to get heard more loudly than the real deal.
Darley's eclectic mix is both powerful and moving, his voice pure and distinctive, the arrangements raw yet subtle. If only Eva Cassidy were alive today, a duet album would have been a best seller. As it is Darley's solo career must be as successful.

Caught Live... 24 Nov 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
... Saw this man live at the Hammersmith Apollo supporting the legendary Ray Charles - Charismatic, powerful, engaging, stunning... his set comprised several of the tracks on this album and I cannot wait to hear the rest. A rare and inspiring talent.
