MB is an auto-buy for me, even down to getting her recent Silhouette books, which have a much more tamed-down version of the sex scenes that I buy her for, but this book was so slow that I gave up before I even reached the first sex scene. Yes, she was introducing a new series and storyline, but it felt too slow-moving and I could not engage with the characters. I rate her most recent Silhouette novel more than this, which is saying something. This hasn't put me off ordering the next print book in the series, though, as she is a talented author. Maybe I just need to choosed my MB series more carefully!

Tyana's part of the Falcon Mercenary Group. They are like a family. Tyana goes in search of Eli who can shape shift at will and give her answers on how he can do it so she can help one of her brothers. D shifts without being able to control it and Tyana will do anything to help him.
Quite straightforward. Some sex,not romantic though. More soldiery (think I just made a word up. Hope you get me meaning).
