The third, and possibly best, album so far. This bloke simply gets better. If you've not heard him then imagine Al Jarraeu crossed with an early soulful Lionel Richie but with a sound that is also all his own. Backed up by very strong songs, great production and superb musicianship. This guy should be an international soul megastar and I can only assume that half hearted promotional support from Motown or just the fact that he follows no particular fashion may be to blame. The whole album is strong but stand out tracks for me are Human Touch, a real contender for being an all time great "groingrinder", Golden Days has the great Jill Scott guesting (further underlining the pedigree on show here) and You're On My Mind. Share My Life and Why Would You Stay seem to be the specialist soul radio faves, both brilliant. If you are tired of X Factor mediocrity and just want to listen to real songs sung from the depths of a man's soul you could do a lot worse than venture into Kem's world. His first two albums aren't too shabby either.
