The pump takes the effort out of inflating and - usually more of an effort - deflating. Either way takes little more than 90 seconds. The mattress is a lot deeper than any other I have ever bought and the night's sleep is more comfortable as a result. It even has a little built-in pillow...it's a gesture rather than a feature and a proper pillow is probably needed, but it at least shows some thought went into the design!
The materials used to make this feel a lot better than similar airbeds I have bought over the last 10 years and you get the impression this will last longer - I've never been impressed with the shelf life of previous ones.
It all fits nicely into the bag provided when you're done.
Less than 50 quid?! Excellent value for money in my opinion!
Update, 3 months later:
Every time I use this bed I marvel at what a good buy it was. Really easy to set up, really easy to take down. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend / buy another one.
Still brilliant. Use it maybe one weekend per month. Still going strong
1. Reasonably firm (you can sit on the corner, for example)
2. Deflates very slowly, so I don't top it up every day
3. Quite comfortable for an inflatable bed
4. Very high, so you don't feel like you're sleeping on the floor like with many other inflatable beds
5. Delivery was very quick
1. The sheet cannot be tucked under the mattress (obviously), so in the morning it's in a total mess
2. It squeaks. A lot.
3. You will want to put an extra duvet under the sheet, otherwise it'll be cold in the morning (like with all airbeds, I guess)
4. It's a bit short. I'm 177cm and it's just enough for me, may be unsuitable for tall people.
5. It comes from Germany with a European plug, so you'll need a EU2UK converter, which is not supplied.
Overall, I'm very happy with it and I would recommend to buy it, especially given a very reasonable price.
In short this is a very comfortable airbed, however the build quality is questionable.
There are however a few downsides. My air bed gets fairly frequent use, every other weekend or so, so bear that in mind. From about the second weekend or so it did seem to start deflating fairly quickly. Not awfully, or enough to make it unusable, but by the end of a night it would be quite sunken, and if it were filled up an hour or so before it was slept in, it would need to be topped up before you got into it. This hasn't prevented us from using it, but it is not particularly convenient. That may simply be the nature of this type of bed though. There has to be a compromise somewhere, I suppose.
It is also very heavy, and it folds rather clumsily. It comes equipped with a large bag for storage, but I have only occasionally been able to fold it small enough to fit into this bag. So you would need a fair amount of storage space for it.
However I maintain that it is good value for money, and it makes a huge difference having it. So maybe if you have more money to spend go for something a bit more expensive, and hopefully by implication better quality, but I think this is overall good value for money.

Very comfortable. Easy to inflate and deflate and to pack. A bit noisy when turning around in bed, but does not impede your rest. I am really happy with this product.Published 1 day ago by Rafael Sales Fernandez
