Lesions affecting the face and mouth are of great diagnostic value providing important information to the clinician. In addition to the oral diseases, which have oral symptoms, many systemic diseases have oral manifestations, and the patient may turn to either the dental or medical practitioner. Many examinations, including the BDS and postgraduate qualifications in medicine and dentistry (MFDS and MRCP) contain a section on slide interpretation to measure the student's ability to manage clinical problems in an examination format. This book contains over 100 slide interpretation questions, divided into two sections. The first section covers Lesions by location and the second lesions by presentation. The questions are graded into three levels of difficulty and there are answers and accompanying explanatory notes at the end of each chapter.
