Not to be confused with that other crime series "Man From Interpol", this early ITC show was first broadcast from 1959-60, and stars Hungarian-born Charles Korvin in the lead role as Paul Duval, an Interpol investigator joined by fellow investigator, Mornay (played by Edwin Richfield).
Duval's globetrotting investigations cover a wide range of cases, including murder, robbery, extortion, blackmail, counterfeit money, an attempt to track down a stolen deadly bacteria, and a story about an unexploded bomb lying against a Scottish dam. Theres a number of familiar guest stars, including Alfred Burke, Patrick Troughton, Warren Mitchell and Donald Pleasence.
This is yet another very enjoyable ITC series, very much in keeping with many other of the company's productions, and for fans of ITC shows, this is well worth a look.
Picture and sound quality are OK (although not as good as some other Network releases). This complete series of 39, twenty-five minute black and white episodes are complete and uncut, no subtitles.
The special features are:
*Extensive Image Galleries.
A brief synopsis of each episode is featured on the inside of the single-size DVD case, which holds all five discs.
Another great release from Network.
