I'll keep this simple. This is the best Christmas present I've bought my nephew so far. He is five years old and loves this. The binoculars are great and the accompanying book is excellent. Pound for pound...brilliant!

I bought these for my Daughters birthday and she was pleased with them.The catch at the back is very annoying as it keeps coming undone and then the binoculars drop on the floor.They are very hard wearing so they have not broken but I will need to tape it together to make them usable on a day out

I bought this for my daughters 6th birthday. She enjoys watching the birds in our garden so we thought this would be a good gift idea. The vision from these is great though the focus dial is rather stiff for even me to use with ease. The carry strap is good for kids but it could use a carry bag or at least lens covers. The book that comes with it is just great. It tells you how to use the binoculars and how to identify birds. It lists most of the birds in the U.K with a page dedicated to each one. also has little tick boxes for each bird so you can keep track what birds you have found. My daughter loved this!
