Product Description

There are hundreds of books on internet marketing out there. Why should you choose this one?

If you're responsible for handling the marketing for a large national or international company with a massive marketing budget and 40 hours per week to spend on it, this book is not for you.

If you're such a beginner when it comes to the internet that you've never heard of Facebook or Twitter and have to ask a 13-year-old how to switch your computer on, this book is not for you.

If you're an expert in all matters internet related, can set up a website before breakfast and you already have you own YouTube channel, blog and weekly podcast, this book is not for you.

But if you're an accountant whose business covers a small geographical area, who's got a tiny, or non-existent, advertising budget and only a couple of hours a week to spend on your marketing activities, this book is the one for you.

With the Internet Marketing Bible for Accountants, you don't need to wade through pages full of expensive and time-consuming strategies which aren't going to work for a local accounting firm like yours. Instead you'll learn how you can supercharge all your local promotional activity at a fraction of the cost of traditional marketing methods such as advertising in your local newspaper.

So why waste time and money reading other internet marketing books that don't meet your needs when everything you need to know is contained right inside this book?

About the Author

Nick Pendrell was born in Stratford-upon-Avon where he went to the same school as William Shakespeare (although a few centuries after Shakespeare had already left).

In the late-eighties, he came to prominence in the UK video industry, responsible for creating the marketing campaigns for such blockbusters as Terminator 2, Basic Instinct and Dances With Wolves.

Always having suffered with wanderlust, he moved to Prague in 1991 where he formed two successful companies, including a magazine publishing company, which he later sold in order to concentrate on his new great interest - the area of internet marketing.

After experimenting with writing and publishing ebooks in 2001 (unfortunately a decade too early) he moved to Latvia in 2004 as marketing consultant for several different internet companies.

In 2007, he published his first book - 'Propertastic's Complete Guide to Hurghada Property and Egypt's Red Sea Real Estate' after seeing the potential of the property market, moving out to Egypt in 2008 where he formed a real estate company.

In 2011, he returned to writing, starting work on the 'Internet Marketing Bible' series of books, empowering local businesses with the tools to harness the promotional power of the internet in order to market themselves in a cost-effective manner. The first title in the series, 'Internet Marketing Bible for Accountants' was published on 3 January 2011.

This book really justifies the five-star rating that I gave it because it really lives up to all its claims. It really does offer a blueprint for marketing any accounting practice online. Using all of the tools and strategies recommended in the book you will definitely be able to reach new clients and improve relationships with existing ones.

The book is more or less laid out with the subjects in order of importance. That's great because you can use the contents page as a checklist as you go through all of the different elements that make up a campaign.

There's a lot of information contained here and so it will take a while to implement everything, but it's written in a very easy to read manner and doesn't try to baffle the reader with too much jargon.

I can't think of any accounting practice that wouldn't benefit from using the advice contained here. The book covers the basics for someone who hasn't even got a website yet, up until some pretty advanced strategies for practices that really want to take their advertising efforts to the next level.

Great Accounting Marketing Book 24 April 2012
By Stanley D. Dean - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I just completed reading the Kindle version of Nick's book. I came across it by accident a few weeks ago and have thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I have a CPA firm in Atlanta, GA and have a big interest in growing my practice. I have been using Pay per Click marketing for several years and have found it very helpful and cost effective. However, social marketing has opened a whole new world of complexity in growing my firm through the internet. I found Nick's book very easy to read and a great "step by step" how to book on how to use the latest internet marketing tools. Nick is very thorough in his review of what is the most effective ways of marketing your firm on the internet. He also points out the ways to market on the internet that he doesn't feel are worth the time or money for the small CPA practice.

Overall I would definitely recommend Nick's book!
