This International Design Yearbook is a good one. I rank Patricia Urquiola, Karim Rashid, and Tom Dixon's books higher, but that may be purely personal preference in content and organizational methodology. This one, however, is also quite good. These books are gems to scoop up, as they are now a relic of past ideas of what the future of design will bring. It is telling to see how well these ideas panned out, and to see where these early kernels have taken us today. Clearly, each of these should be studied in design school.
