Product Description

Synopsis

"International Connections" features ten plays and a musical drawn from some of the best writers around. The plays make up a rich and varied repertoire of challenging and entertaining work for young people. With a wide range of cast sizes, a variety of settings, styles and subject matter, and a choice of comedy, tragedy, coming-of-age stories, fables and a musical, schools and youth theatre groups should be spoilt for choice. The plays were specially commissioned by the Royal National Theatre for the International Connections programme for young people in 2002.

5.0 out of 5 stars plays to remember, 27 Nov 2002
By A Customer
Although i have not read all of the book i have seen the plays and also been in one myself. Connections create competions for children. Giving them a chance to go and learn a play by a great writter and then proform it at diffrent thearter and final if the play they chose is the best out of all the youth thearter who chose that play then they are asked to preform at the national in london which is one of the best exprinces me and some of my friends every had. These plays are amazing and very well writen. Writters inculde Andy hamilton, jakie kay, Kay Adshead, Tamson ogleby,Judy Upton and many more.Althoguh to me the other plays I saw were amazing none were as good in my opion as the exam by Andy Hamliton which after about 15 rehaerals and 4 shows was still funny
