my opinion is :

I think that the links between markets are among the most important factors to consider in developing a trading system or strategy.
There is very little information out there on Intermarket analysis (except for John Murphy's book).
Unlike Murphy's chart based intuitive approach of what happened in the past, Markos's book is based on extensive statistical research to develop trading systems for trading Index futures, FOREX, futures and stocks and forecast what is going to happen in the future.
I found his Chapter on dynamic asset allocation especially useful and very interesting.
Also the Chapter on FOREX takes a global market perspective and other factors (like the carry trade) in trading currency pairs.
Pick up this book if you want to read the work of an original thinker .Whether you trade the S&P e-mini, the DAX, the FTSE, stocks , futures or FOREX, I think you will benefit from Markos' insight.
The code for every system is provided in the Appendix but only for metastock but you can easily translate it in any other programming language as the trading rules are explained thoroughly in the relevant Chapters.
THANKS AND VERY INTERESTING.

The Intermarket analysis is poorly covered in current literature, with few books of historical data and boring details.
Instead in this book the Author, who has mastered the Intermarket analysis, shares many discoveries, and helps the reader to develop indicators and trading strategies.
This book makes it easier to understand today markets, and I suggest it for both long and short term trading. It is not for fiction traders who bet on markets direction, but for people really trading their own accounts, studying a lot of technical analysis and pondering experts ideas.
Even this book is very useful for MetaStock (MS) users to design (or improving their) trading systems, even you aren't the best programmers. Also users of other technical analysis software can develop trading strategies, because in the Appendix there is the MS code for all the systems described, and the Excel spreadsheets for the other methods (for example the asset allocation method).
Reading this book grow up your fever to go to your pc for studying the correlations Author disclosed, and testing the trading strategies he explains !

Minuses: discussion on fuzzy logic and genetic algorithms are very introductory (but these are very specific topics). Author limited his Intermarket analysis to major markets, and not all exchange products are covered.

Pluses: the best book on the subject I ever red : the Intermarket analysis is well explained. The Author insights help to really make money in trading today markets. Good value for price : many systems described would cost hundred dollars to buy !

To be honest I have read many books and wasted too much money on books that teach you about market psycology, markets behaviour, risk management, how to do this or that but the truth is that nobody really tells you how to because they are either too selfish to do so or perhaps not competent enough. Markos Katsanos frank style, transparent and rigourous at the same time can represent a life changing opportunity for any person who is serious about trading or about to become serious about it. Highly reccomended. S.I., Hedge Fund Analyst and investor.
