Product Description
The new “S” Type bracket kits allows you to connect your Hotshoe flashgun to almost any “S” type fitting light shaping tools such as soft boxes, beauty dishes, snoots, barndoor sets and spill kill reflectors etc.
One of the main benefits of the STROBIES XS is its rotating hotshoe mount, which allows your iTTL or eTTL port to be seen on the same side as your camera and flash triggering system (Nikon SU800 / Canon ST-E2). This allows for a greater range of the infrared triggering system with the above units or main flashgun as it no longer has to rely on walls or other objects to bounce the infrared signal back to the unit.
The STROBIES XS bracket also features an additional hotshoe for mounting a radio receiver for full manual control of your lighting system or a second flash unit should you use the bracket as an umbrella holder via the light stand mount which also has the facility to tilt backwards and forwards for perfect positioning.
Note: Sony/Minolta flashes have a non-standard shoe. Part #STR114 is required to convert their shoe for use with this product.
