About the Author
Head of Production Development for BBC Resources, he is responsible for innovation and the development of new production technologies and services. He also has years of experience of building interactive television services for broadcasters and platform operators. Formerly Executive Producer in charge of new media production at news broadcaster ITN, he was responsible for the launch of the ITN News Channel interactive television channel and ITV Election 2001 interactive television services. He was also Manager of Enhanced Television at Cable and Wireless Communications, where he helped build the UK's first digital interactive-cable platform.
